VACANCY  (Internal/External) Job Title: Distributor Finance Scheme Manager Department: Sales Reporting to: Head of Distributor Management Category: 10 Level: 5 No of positions: 01 Contract: Permanent PURPOSE Ensure that the back office process for the DFS scheme is rolled out in a seamless manner Closely monitor and ensure smooth functioning of the end to end back office operations Provide sound financial insights and data to the management & Distributor management team (including some training), enlightening distributors’ financial health in order to prevent/mitigate sales losses and ease decision making. Provides support within the S&OP process (Ensure forecast cash). Ensure adequacy of the credit limits granted to distributors and any other financial support distributors may require on a timely manner QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED University Degree in  Accounting / Audit / Finance 3 - 5 years of experience in a banking operations, multinational FMCG OTC and outbound / distributor stock management operations or audit environment, with a good commercial acumen ACCOUNTABILITIES As Distributor Finance Scheme Manager you should be able to: Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness in placement of revolving credit (overdraft) or any other (medium term loan) facility in the customer’s bank account. Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness in the execution of distributor’s instruction by the bank for the transfer of funds into the GCSA bank account Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness in the execution of distributor’s Loading Orders by GCSA Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness in the collection of sales proceeds (net cash after reconciliation) from distributor and posting into the distributor’s account in the bank. Prepare monthly Management Service Review Pack for management on the functioning of the end to end operations of the DFS. Work with Sales, the credit controller and the bank to propose quarterly amendments to the revolving credit facility with a view to ensuring that the level of credit granted is adequate and reflects the need of the distributor and historical use of the facility. Work with Sales, the credit controller and the bank to propose ad hoc changes to the credit limit of the distributor (to meet rainy season, peak period, long week-ends, events, etc needs) and also where there is indication the a distributor is in liquidation or insolvency CAPABILITIES You will need to have: Financially literate (P&L, Balance sheet, cash flow management, ROI, etc…) with good analytical skills Strong oral and written communication skills:  capable to explaining the key issues to bankers, sales and distributors. Seeks to enhance and improve own output and that of the team Time management skills with good change management experience. Proven ability to facilitate, persuade, influence and build credibility with all levels and all functions.
