Due to the nature of our business and rate of growth, legal and compliance is central to our business, and impacts every department in the company.As the first compliance officer hired by the group you will work with the Head of Corporate, Commercial and Compliance to shape our compliance posture and control framework.Specific Areas Of Responsibility Would Include Data privacy lead (including acting as Data Protection Officer) AML and Sanctions policy oversight Policy and procedure Compliance testing and reporting Data PrivacyBeing a technology led employment services provider, data is at the heart of our products and how we operate. We are looking to embed a data privacy SaaS solution into our environment to enable us to efficiently and scalably manage our data privacy obligations and leverage our data. You will work with the IT security team and department data deputies to roll-out this solution. In addition you will help develop various data privacy processes, procedures and supporting documentation as required by regulation (e.g. subject access requests or privacy impact assessments) leveraging technology wherever possible. You will act as DPO for our various entities and advise management on data privacy obligations and help craft our response. You will also have the platform to shape our data strategy.AML and SanctionsOmnipresent is committed to complying with all applicable AML and Sanction regimes (and other applicable compliance laws) in the jurisdictions in which we operate and to this end plan to commission an external review of our regulatory environment and current policies and procedures. You will work with the business to support this external review and, in turn, implement the outcomes of this review. This may include conducting training, improving processes and conducting compliance testing/ reporting.Policy and procedureBy being both a rapidly growing and technology led business, Omnipresent seeks to automate or otherwise build compliance into our operating model wherever possible. You will oversee the development of our policy and procedure suite from a compliance perspective (including leading deployment of new policies and procedures produced by the external review referred to above) and work with the various departments including Technology, Operations and Sales/ Customer Success teams to ensure our operations are compliant by design, scalable and the control framework is properly documented.Compliance testing and reportingWhilst many organisations are “paper compliant”, we require our operations to be compliant in practice, with this compliance supported by a testing regime and the production of data/metrics. You will lead the development of a testing and reporting regime for all material elements of our control framework and, based on these outputs, work with senior management to continuously improve the compliance environment. Profil recherché pour le poste : Senior Compliance and Data Privacy Officer You Must Requirements Hold a recognised data privacy compliance qualification (ideally CIPP/E and CIPM from IPP or equivalent qualification of diploma level or above) Have at least 6 years experience in a compliance function with 4 years experience in data privacy. Consideration given to other relevant fields (e.g. law, risk or audit) if a candidate can demonstrate relevancy to this role. Have experience in drafting policies and procedures and compliance testing Be confident working independently and Be a good communicator both written and verbal Embody the OmniValues of Humility, Ambition, Curiosity and Authenticity You Ideally Will hold a compliance industry qualification (outside of data privacy), ideally in AML/CTF compliance. experience working with data privacy tools/ technology (e.g. OneTrust, BigID, or similar) have worked in a digitally first, global business have worked in or as professional partner to companies in the recruitment industry and familiar with employer of record services What's in it for you?
